Biography

Garrett Adelstein is a high-stakes cash game specialist who resides in Los Angeles, California. For many years, he's been a popular figure in the Southern California live-streamed poker games, starting with Live at the Bike originally and then also Hustler Casino Live once it began airing in 2021.

"G-Man," as he's often referred, went to college at the University of Arizona in Tucson. In 2013, he appeared on the hit CBS TV show Survivor, but was an early exit from the show. From then on, he'd become known as a poker player, and arguably one of the best in the world.

On Live at the Bike and Hustler Casino Live, Adelstein (pronounced addle-stine) has long been one of the most feared players in the games, and also a fan favorite. He's often the headliner in just about any lineup and producers for both shows have said that his presence has been a key to their success.

Adelstein rarely plays tournaments but he did compete in the 2022 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas.

In September 2022, in a $100/$200/$400 game on Hustler Casino Live, Adelstein lost a $269,000 pot to recreational player Robbi Jade Lew, who called off a six-figure bet on the turn with nothing but jack-high and no draw. Upon seeing her cards, the always mild-mannered poker pro questioned the legitimacy of the hand.

Adelstein left the game and was refunded his money by Lew, who denied cheating and said she only gave the money back to defuse the situation. The following day, Adelstein made some bold accusations on Twitter, accusing his opponent of "clearly" cheating. His reputation among those who side with Lew and believe she's innocent has been shattered. But there are also many within the poker community who are convinced she somehow had an unfair advantage in the hand. Neither side has been proven to date.
